SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS

As the SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS Intern, you will work with Berlin Series Festival Staff to both assist in maintenance and brainstorm strategies for engagement and growth across social platforms. Weekly you will perform a variety of tasks driven to grow the Berlin Series brand and voice, including but not be limited to, increasing followers and audience, and maintaining a regular posting schedule across major platforms leading up to Season 07.

Duties: 

• Assist with weekly scheduling, posting, and metric tracking for our social accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). 

• Assist with curating / editing the digital Berlin Series newsletter. 

• Help maintain and increase social media engagement with the Berlin Series audience. 

• Update, maintain, and proof programming information on the our website on a regular basis. 

• Work with festival panelists, sponsors, and partners to facilitate social media promotion for Berlin Series events & programming. 

• Provide general phone / email support for festival attendees, partners, and sponsors.

Applicants must: 

• • Be currently enrolled as an student.

  • Be located in Berlin for the duration of the internship. 

  • Have at least 15 hours available Mon. – Fri., plus evening / weekend flexibility for occasional events.

  • Have increased / flexible availability for the two (2) full weeks prior to the festival), including weekends before the festival

  • Have FULL availability the week of the festival (internships in 2023)

  • Be able to provide your own transportation.

  • Have a strong interest in social media, and familiarity with basic posting features on all major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). 

  • Have basic knowledge of Adobe Creative suite (particularly Photoshop).

  • Have an overall interest in / appreciation for television and communications!

  • Be willing to brainstorm, collaborate, and problem-solve with fellow interns!
