General terms and conditions for tickets/event passes of TV SERIES FESTIVAL // Berlin Series Festival GmbH.


A precondition of accreditation for the festival and registration for the Masterclasses, or Summit/Forum program is the accredited person’s agreement to our participation guidelines. Every breach of the conditions of participation as well as any disregard for security regulations can result in the withdrawal of accreditation and immediate exclusion from all events by the organiser. The organiser reserves the right to assert additional rights.


Festival Accreditation is linked to individual persons and non-transferable. It allows access to certain areas and events, and/or screenings at the TV SERIES FESTIVAL. Over the entire duration of the Festival,  an accreditation/badge is required to access the festival areas. Persons without an accreditation/badge/pass or printed ticket  can be refused entry by security personnel, festival workers  or management.


Accreditation/badge used by people other than the accreditation/registration holder will be confiscated.

Loss or theft of Press/Festival Accreditation/badges/passes must be reported to the respective accreditation e-mail. The issuance of a new Press, Festival Accreditation/badge/pass will result in additional costs. The organisers reserve the right to not issue a replacement Accreditation /badge. The Day Pass & Visitor/Guest Pass are non-replaceable.


Your registration with the purchase on the website is binding and will be processed in the order of receipt. If the event is already fully booked, we will notify you as soon as possible, or the sale will be stopped. Registration and the purchase of several event passes are possible, but only one ticket is valid for one person.

BERLIN SERIES FESTIVAL will publish the valid entrance fees and announce them in the Accreditation Webpage / Ticket shop. By pressing the button “Register Now”  or "Buy Now" to complete the order and purchase a ticket in the online- ticket shop of the BERLIN SERIES FESTIVAL GmbH, a binding offer to conclude the purchase contract is made. The purchaser subsequently receives a confirmation of the purchase by email. Payment takes place by credit card or via PayPal. The ticket/badge purchased online can be  printed as a PDF.



We always communicate the various discount options in advance or through our newsletter. Discounts do not apply to all events of the festival and cannot always be combined with each other or with other discounts. This also applies to already discounted total prices. If you cancel part of your order, the discount will be withdrawn or charged to you later.


Instead of the registered participant, you can name a replacement participant free of charge, provided that he or she has comparable prior knowledge in the subject matter. You can rebook to a different event date or a different event, but you must inform us in writing. We calculate rebookings as follows:


  • Rebooking up to 4 weeks before the event: free of charge

  • Rebooking from 4 weeks before the event: € 190 plus VAT

  • You can withdraw from the contract at any time; however, this can only be done in writing - by email or letter. We calculate as follows:

  • Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the event: € 190 plus VAT

  • Cancellation from 4 weeks before the event: entire participation costs plus VAT

  • This also applies if the registered participant does not appear.

  • If you book as a private individual, the following applies to revocation: as a Consumer (Sec. 13 BGB [German Civil Code]) you have the right to revoke contracts to supply vouchers and goods which are concluded via our ticket/ web-shop within fourteen days, without giving any reason. The 14-day revocation period begins on the day on which these goods/e-ticket(s) are received by you, or by a third person named by you, other than the carrier. In order to exercise your right to revoke, you must notify us by means of a clear statement (e.g. a postal letter or an email) of your decision to revoke this contract. To comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of the exercise of the right of revocation before the expiry of the revocation period.


Festival Accreditations/badges/passes  can be paid for in advance online by credit cards or via PayPal. Upon request, companies and institutions can make collective payments for their employees/representatives via bank transfer for certain events or educational programs. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are exclusive of the applicable value-added tax. The prices stated in the booking confirmation are final. Accreditation is possible by purchasing the respective event passes on the company's website, where they are properly displayed.



If you revoke this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you immediately and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your revocation of this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this refund as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this refund.



We may cancel the event due to insufficient demand or number of participants or for other important reasons or government decisions (Covid) that we are not responsible for (e.g. sudden illness of the speaker, force majeure). Participation fees already paid by you will be refunded. Further liability and damage claims arising from the cancellation or modification of the event, which do not concern the violation of life, body or health, are excluded, unless there is intent or gross negligence on our part. We cannot compensate you for your self-booked accommodation or transport costs. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance - a special seminar cancellation insurance is also possible.



We reserve the right to change the content, methodology, or organization of the event, and the lecturer before or during the event, but these changes will not substantially reduce the services promised to participants. If a scheduled speaker is unavailable (e.g., due to illness or accident), we will replace them with another speaker who is equally qualified for the announced topic. Our materials are prepared to the best of our knowledge and belief, but we do not guarantee their accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or quality.

BERLIN SERIES FESTIVAL GmbH reserves the right to alter programs, teachers, casts, speakers and lecturers before or during the event,  or due to COVID regulations by the government to alter the physical event to an online version/edition/seminar/screening.



All teaching materials remain our property until payment is made in full by the customer. The dissemination or distribution of these materials to third parties or their public accessibility is not permitted. In particular, the sharing of audio or video data, digital presentations, or scripts on the internet or on portals (e.g., LinkedIn) is prohibited.



At events, videos or pictures may be taken by participants. These will only be shared with participants in the vicinity of the event. If you do not agree to have your image/video taken or provided internally, please let us know at the door! Photo or video recordings may also be used for promotional purposes for our workshops and seminars. If this is the case, we will separately obtain your consent.

Film and sound recordings of any kind by festival guests at the festival and forum screenings are not permitted. Any infringement can lead to civil and criminal legal action and will result in the visitor being asked to leave the venue.

Film, digital, video or sound recordings that contain any content of a festival screening as well as the recording device containing them can be confiscated. The devices can be returned upon the condition that the owner agrees to delete the recordings beforehand. In light of the necessity to protect from piracy, every participant ensures that he or she will not steal intellectual property, in accordance with copyright laws and with respect to the resultant rights.

If authorized persons record images and / or sound during a public screening, attendees comply with their possible inclusion in an image and/or sound recording and that these recordings may be broadcast or transmitted to third parties for the purpose of publication without any claim to remuneration.


Valid programmes and starting times as well as opening hours of exhibitions, masterclasses, or our forum may be found in official TV SERIES FESTIVAL publications. Announced dates are to be understood as non-binding announcements. You can pre-register for events announced as such. It is possible that the content, duration, and costs of these dates may change. The price stated in your binding registration is binding, however.



Strict confidentiality applies to all our events. This requires that all information mentioned or disclosed during the event, whether in writing or orally, including but not limited to ideas, concepts, methods, etc. ("confidential information"), be treated confidentially and not sold, traded, published, reproduced, or otherwise disclosed to any person or entity without the prior written consent of the user and the company. This obligation also applies after the event. The only exceptions are cases in which there is a legal obligation to exchange information or the parties concerned are expressly released from their obligation of confidentiality by the respective person or company. Once the purpose for which the confidential information was acquired has been achieved, all originals and copies of the confidential information must be promptly returned or destroyed.



We do not participate in a consumer dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board. 

The contractual implementation (billing, etc.) is carried out by Berlin Series Festival GmbH.  The place of performance and jurisdiction is Berlin.
